This project was all about creating an attractive, sleek and streamlined open plan kitchen diner within the footprint of a beautiful period home. Keeping key features like the bay window, but bringing them up to date with aluminium and adding doors for access to the garden makes the space workable and gives the popular indoor outdoor feel. Making the space open plan was achieved by removing internal walls, adding new structural steels and inserting roof lights. The team also created a practical family friendly downstairs utility, shower and WC room.

The client said. ‘We were about 2 years into planning renovation and getting nowhere, but as soon as Simon was recommended to us, everything became so much easier. Simon is extremely knowledgeable, has lots of experience and takes care of everything. The whole process was surprisingly easy with the Logic team on board. They were considerate and respectful of our living space leaving everything tidy (we lived in the house with 2 children during the renovation). Simon was always available for anything, from planning the layout of our bathroom and kitchen to the smallest (and probably most annoying) of my questions.

The quality of work is incredible. I genuinely have never seen such great building work, from the structural right through to the finish. There was one weekend where we had three separate traders (independent of Logic Construction) – they were all blown away with the quality of work which is probably a bigger compliment and testament to the quality.
